Murphy & South Fork Lateral Regional Detention Ponds (TWDB FIF Project No. 40073)

The work generally consists of the construction of two (2) regional detention ponds located near Primera, TX. The ponds will include concrete weir outfall structures with stone riprap protection, as well as low flow pipe outlets with headwalls and check valves. Additional work includes minor channel grading as well as installation of additional culverts under the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) via jack and bore and construction of concrete riprap headwalls for slope protection. Coordination with the UPRR will be required for all work in UPRR ROW. Erosion and sedimentation control measures will be required along with revegetation of disturbed areas.
