Northwest HPD and HFD Public Safety Complex and Detention

This project includes the construction of significant underground detention for the purpose of flood mitigation, and the construction of a new public safety complex within 10 acre site in northwest Houston. The site was purchased for the specified project and the existing apartment complex has been demolished, including the removal of all concrete and utilities with the exception of the storm sewer which remains in place. The site is traversed by the Long Point Fault near the southern third of the site footprint.
