Bid guide
How to participate in the Louisiana Air National Guard industry day
What the Army is offering
The Louisiana Air National Guard’s 159th Fighter Wing is hosting an industry day to discuss potential contracting opportunities, general mission requirements, and anticipated acquisition needs. The event is informational and is not a solicitation, request for proposal, or request for quotation.
Businesses, including small businesses, can use the event to learn about possible future opportunities and speak with Government representatives. Attendance does not guarantee consideration for or award of a future contract.
Key dates and the event deadline
The industry day is Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon Central Time. It will be held at NAS JRB New Orleans, Building 473, 400 Russell Ave, Belle Chasse, Louisiana; the meeting location is the Visitor Center at the Main Gate.
RSVP by noon Central Time on Monday, November 9, 2026. The announcement lists a separate opportunity deadline of November 12 at 10 a.m. ET; the RSVP deadline for attending is November 9 at noon Central Time.
Who should consider attending
The event is intended for businesses interested in potential contracting opportunities with the Louisiana Air National Guard, including small businesses. It may be relevant to vendors in the transportation category, but the announcement does not describe a specific purchase or define a required vendor specialty.
How to access the opportunity and RSVP
Open the opportunity through “View original source” on the portal. If the first click takes you to the portal homepage, click again to go to the opportunity. A free account may be needed to view documents, though many opportunities do not require one.
Submit your RSVP by the stated deadline. Include your company name, attendee name or names, email address, telephone number, and business size and socioeconomic status, if applicable. Registered attendees will receive any applicable visitor-access, identification, and meeting instructions.
Practical preparation for the event
Prepare a brief introduction to your company and the work it performs, and identify the questions you want to ask about anticipated needs and potential opportunities. Be ready to describe your business size and socioeconomic status accurately if applicable.
Allow time for installation access coordination and follow the instructions sent to registered attendees. Plan for your own attendance costs: the Government will not reimburse participants, and it may amend or cancel the event.
