Bid guide
How to bid on e-waste collection events for Battelle Energy Alliance
What Battelle Energy Alliance is seeking
Battelle Energy Alliance LLC is seeking expressions of interest from qualified recyclers to organize residential e-waste collection events in eligible states without e-waste recycling laws. The project aims to raise awareness, increase collections and test whether collection methods used in regulated states work in nonregulated states.
Participating organizations must conduct at least two to three events before September 2027. They must also promote the events and report participant counts and quantities of collected e-waste by type. This is an early expression-of-interest stage; selected respondents may be invited to a future request for proposals.
Key date and what the deadline means
The response deadline is November 13, 2026, at 1:59 PM ET. The date is subject to change.
Responses are expressions of interest, not proposals for award. BEA will determine which respondents may be invited to participate in the anticipated RFP process.
