Bid guide
How to respond to DLA’s CL26294001 manufacturing market survey
What DLA is seeking
The Defense Logistics Agency is conducting market research to identify manufacturers capable of producing items listed by National Stock Number and manufacturer part number in Attachment 1. Attachment 2 contains the Market Survey Questionnaire and supporting documents.
This is a Sources Sought Notice, not a request for quotes or proposals. A response is not an offer and does not create a contract. DLA says a future solicitation, if issued, is anticipated to include delivery to customers in the United States, overseas, and through Foreign Military Sales.
Deadline and what it means
The questionnaire must be received by email no later than October 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM ET. The notice describes the deadline as close of business that day.
This deadline is for market research responses, not contract offers. DLA will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response.
Who this opportunity suits
This notice is for manufacturers that can produce the listed NSN and part-number items and are interested in a potential future solicitation.
Consider whether your manufacturing capabilities and delivery plans can address customer direct delivery as well as the anticipated overseas and Foreign Military Sales requirements.
How to access and respond
Open the opportunity through the portal’s “View original source” option. If the first click takes you to the portal homepage, click the option again. A free account may be needed to view documents.
Review Attachment 1 and complete the Market Survey Questionnaire in Attachment 2. Email your response by the deadline to Trent Daniels at [email protected] or Miranda Coon at [email protected].
Prepare a useful market survey response
Check that your answers clearly address the specific items identified by NSN and part number. Describe your manufacturing capability in terms that let DLA assess whether you can produce those items.
Address the delivery scope stated in the notice: customer direct delivery, overseas delivery, and Foreign Military Sales. Follow the questionnaire and supporting-document instructions, and allow time to send the email before the deadline.
