The City of Alcoa is seeking labor and equipment to clear power line rights of way and easements and trim trees.

This is an invitation for bids (IFB) for vendors that provide vegetation-clearance and tree-trimming work.

Deadline and delivery rules

Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. ET on October 29, 2026, at the office of the Alcoa Purchasing Agent.

The City says bids received after the deadline will be unopened and discarded. Regardless of how you send your bid, you are responsible for making sure it arrives on time.

Mailed or hand-delivered bids should be sealed and labeled “Furnishing Labor and Equipment for Power Line Right of Way and Easement Clearance and Tree Trimming, RFB 25145, Bid Enclosed”. Use the same wording as the subject line for an emailed bid.

Plan delivery with enough time for the bid to arrive before the deadline. For an email response, check that the message is addressed correctly, uses the required subject line, and includes all required files.
