Sunnyhill Restoration Area, West Tract 2027 Timber Sale

The Governing Board of the St. Johns River Water Management District is requesting sealed bids for a per ton timber sale comprised of approximately 331.6 acres (“Sale Area”) within the Sunnyhill Restoration Area, located in Marion County, Florida. The Sale Area is in Section 12; Township 17 South; Range 24 East. Sale boundaries include roads, firebreaks, swamps, and obvious changes in timber type. (Maps are included in the attached agreement.) This timber sale includes marked timber and logger-select thinning. The marked area consists of 253.2 acres of mature slash pine, with harvest trees identified by blue paint at eye level.
