The Therapeutic Role of Soluble Adenylyl Cyclase Inhibition in Ameliorating Inflammatory Vascular Remodeling in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) for preclinical animal research services to evaluate the therapeutic effects of soluble adenylyl cyclase (sAC) inhibition on pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) using an established endothelial cell-specific Cav1 knockout (EC-Cav1 KO) murine model and corresponding wild-type controls. The Government intends to solicit from a single source pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
