1.0 BACKGROUND Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific requires commercial mooring-line supplies to support safe and reliable submarine mooring operations. The required rope and associated thimbles must be compatible and suitable for marine mooring use.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall furnish and deliver new commercial synthetic-fiber mooring line and compatible stainless-steel synthetic rope thimbles as specified in Section 3.0. All supplies shall be delivered to NBK Bangor, Silverdale, Washington, in accordance with Section 4.0.
