EO 14398, Taser 10 for South Atlantic Gulf SERO The National Park Service, Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf, intends to award a Firm Fixed price contract for Conducted Energy Weapons (CEWs) AKA Tasers to support law enforcement activities and the mission of keeping the public safe. This purchase supports the lifecycle replacement of hardware. DOI's 446 DM 22, Conducted Energy Weapons, states that CEWs are a less-lethal hand-held device that discharges electrical pulses designed to temporarily incapacitate a person by inhibiting the person's neuromuscular control.
