3.0.1 ;The following MILSPECs apply; MIL-DTL-17060 Motors Alternating Current, Integral Horsepower, Shipboard Use and MIL-STD 2037 Procedure to Obtain Certification for Electric Motor Sealed Insulation Systems.The following NAVSEA Standard Items (NSI) apply; 009-17 Rotating Electrical Equipment repair and 009-113 Rotating Electrical Equipment with a Sealed Insulation System (SIS) rewind. For Service A motor repairs a Sealed Insulation System (SIS) certified vendor is required if a stator rewind or Vacuum Pressure Impregnation(VPI) process is necessary. ;

3.1 Marking - This item shall be physically identified in accordance with MIL-STD-130.
