Villas on the Strand - Building Envelope Reconstruction

Substantial removal and reconstruction of masonry and EIFS exterior facades to address water intrusion damage associated with Hurricane Harvey. Work will also include replacement of windows, balcony doors, potential selective replacement of sheathings, potential repairs to interior walls and finishes, flashings, sealants, and weather proofing materials. An existing wood framed canopy will also be removed and reinstalled to resolve water intrusion issues. Much of the basis of the scope of work is based on recommendations from a Design and Construction Evaluation Report by French Engineering dated July 23, 2023.
