Nurse Aide Registry and Training and Competency Evaluation Program

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) is seeking proposals for a Nurse Aide Registry and Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program, and intends to use the results of this process to award a Contract. The Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42 (42 CFR 483.150 - CFR 483.160) requires states to establish nurse aide training and testing requirements and to maintain a registry of nurse aides eligible to work in health care facilities.
