3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 ;The Universal Joint must be manufactured in accordance with NAVSEA drawing 7384568 item 92 and Electric Boat specification 2003, except as amplified or modified herein.; 3.2 ;Materials for the universal joint must be in accordance with Class D of Electric boat specification 2003 except that ASTM B150 UNS C63200 material must be used for the hub and block.;
3.3 Mercury Free - Mercury and mercury containing compounds must not be intentionally added or come in direct contact with hardware or supplies furnished under this contract. Mercury contamination of the material will be cause for rejection.
