3. REQUIREMENTS

3.1 ;The Stem for a 1 1/2 inch hull and backup valve must be in accordance with NAVSEA drawing803-5959302, Item 7, except as amplified or modified herein.; 3.2 ;The original melter, melter/converters, and converters of MIL-DTL-24252 material must bequalified in accordance with paragraph 3.2.7 of MIL-DTL-24252.; 3.3 ;No weld repair allowed on MIL-DTL-24252 material.;

3.4 Material for Parts Requiring Certification - Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis is required for the parts listed below unless specifically stated otherwise: Part - ;Stem; Material - ;MIL-DTL-24252, Composition I, Condition CA-7;
