3. REQUIREMENTS

3.1 ;Stem Assembly for a size 10 inch Ball Valve, consisting of Stem, piece 79, Retaining Nut, piece 80 and Bushing, piece 81, must be in accordance with Naval Ships Systems Command Drawing 803-4385051 and DRN 4385051-C1 along with Naval Ships Systems Command General Notes Drawing 803-4384678 and DRNs 4384678-C2 and 4384678-C6, except as amplified or modified herein.; 3.2 ;The across flats dimension on the end of the stem, piece 79, indicated on sheet 5 of DRN C1 is changed to 2.489/2.487 inches in lieu of 2.849/2.847 inches.; 3.3 ;The material for the Retaining Nut, piece 80 is alloy UNS C90300 per ASTM-B505 (Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis is not required).;
