3. REQUIREMENTS

3.1 ;The Cover Plate Assembly must be in accordance with Ingersoll-Rand Company drawing 11181-D-18, except as amplified or modified herein.;

3.2 Material for Parts Requiring Certification - Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis is required for the parts listed below unless specifically stated otherwise: Part - ;Cover Plate, Item 237A; Material - ;Hot Forged per MIL-C-24679, Alloy C71500 and meeting the chemical requirements of Note 1 of drawing 11181-D-18;
