3. REQUIREMENTS

3.1 ;Stem Assembly for a size 6 inch Ball Valve to be in accordance with Naval Sea Systems Command Drawing 803-4384681 , consisting of Stem, Piece 82, Stem Retaining Nut, Piece 83 and Bushing, Piece 84, along with Naval Sea Systems Command General Notes Drawing 803-4384678, and applicable engineering documents except as amplified or modified herein.; 3.2 ;No weld repair allowed on QQ-N-286 material.;

3.3 Material for Parts Requiring Certification - Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis is required for the parts listed below unless specifically stated otherwise: Part - ;Stem, piece 82; Material - ;QQ-N-286, annealed and age hardened;
