South Flores Street (Commerce Street to Martin Street)

From Commerce to Martin the curb will generally by removed and replaced, narrowing the street and widening the sidewalk. Sidewalks over basements will need to be carefully removed, waterproofing applied to the area, and replacing the sidewalk. In 2 locations, sidewalks over basements will be demolished and reconstructed with a new supporting understructure. Sidewalk topping will be used from Commerce to Houston. There will be minor street reconstruction. Most street work will consists of mill & overlay with new concrete bus pads installed, including signage and lane markings.
