Johnson Street and I-95 Drainage Culvert (Project No. 24-11064)

The interim project concept consists of: · Raising the top of bank of the FDOT I-95 ditch along its eastern perimeter at a height sufficient to contain the runoff from exiting the ditch into the neighborhood (approx. 5 ft-NAVD.) · Re-grading the FDOT ditch in between the trees south of Johnson to provide some additional storage and conveyance path to the north to the new culvert. · Installing a new equivalent large culvert under Johnson Street and a canal to provide a positive outfall from the FDOT I-95 ditch to the City’s drainage system in the Sunset Park area.
