The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) continues to seek proposals for the School Based Health Centers (Open-Ended) Request for Proposals (RFP) through the PASSPort system. School Based Health Centers (SBHC) were established by Chapter 198 of the NYS Laws of 1978 to improve the accessibility and availability of quality comprehensive and preventive physical and mental health services to preschool, elementary, middle and secondary school students in high risk areas of New York State.
