Bid guide
How to bid on private transportation services for the US Embassy in Quito, Ecuador
What the Department of State is buying
The US Embassy in Quito, Ecuador, needs private transportation services. They plan to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with qualified providers. These services will support official transportation needs both within and outside Quito, on an as-needed basis.
A BPA is an agreement, not a contract. The government is not obligated to buy a definite amount. When a need arises, an authorized representative will issue an order. If the BPA-holder accepts the order, a binding contract for that specific order is created. This is an opportunity for transportation service providers to establish an ongoing relationship with the Embassy.
Key dates and what happens at the deadline
The solicitation was published on July 07, 2026. All proposals must be submitted electronically by August 07, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET. Questions about this solicitation must be sent to [email protected] before 4:00 PM on July 17, 2026.
Proposals received after the deadline will likely not be considered. The US Government intends to award one or more BPAs based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, though discussions may occur if needed.
